Step 1: Download our BioShorts or MediShorts style guide and format your article as it advises.

Step 2: Submit your article as a word document using the submission button on the left. Please indicate you preferred journal within the submission portal.

Step 3: The article will be reviewed by two members of the BioShorts team to determine if it is a good fit, and if successful will advance to the next step.

Step 4: Publishing with BioShorts is free of charge. However, research requiring comprehensive text creation or considerable rewrites may be subject to a payment at this stage. Find out more here.

Step 5: Internal editing & applicant revisions.

Step 6: External peer review & applicant revisions.

Step 7: Professional editing.

Step 8: In house formatting.

Step 9: Applicant sign off and publication!

Download our style guide here for general guidance on formatting your submission. We accept submissions in any software format (Word, etc.). While we provide this template for your convenience, don’t worry too much about perfect formatting – our in-house editing team can handle this for you.
