How does it work?
Step 1: Download our Bioshorts or MediShorts style guide and format your article as it advises. Our published manuscripts typically range from 1 to 4 pages in length.

Step 4: If your submission is accepted, the next steps depend on the type of document you have submitted:
For manuscript submissions: If your manuscript meets our criteria, it will advance to the next stage of the review process.
For dissertations, reports, or similar documents: If your submission is a dissertation, report, or similar document, our Lead Editor will draft the manuscript for you based on the provided material.
Step 5: The drafted article will undergo internal editing and formatting to ensure the article meets our standards for publication and is inline with in-house styles. Revisions should be agreed upon by both the corresponding author and the BioShorts managing editor.
Step 6: The BioShorts team will then source and obtain external review from area specialists (PhD, ≥ 5 related publications, including 2 in the last 36 months). The external reviewers will indicate if the article requires further refinement and recommend one of the following outcomes: ‘accepted with minor corrections’, ‘accepted with major corrections’ or ‘rejected’. The corresponding author should then accommodate the advised changes.
Step 7: All articles published by BioShorts Ltd are then professionally edited. Revisions should be agreed upon by both the corresponding author and the BioShorts managing editor.
Step 8: The BioShorts team will then apply final formatting alterations.
Step 9: The final article will be signed off by the corresponding author, following which, the article will be published!
